All rooms have been fully refurbished following acquisition of the hotel in 2007. Turning what were 12 rooms into 8, we are able to offer choices that suit a variety of budgets and space requirements. We regularly update the decor and replace the furnishings as required in order to maintain a high standard of comfort and presentation. All our rooms have hair dryers, Freeview wall-mounted LCD TVs and free Wifi access. Individually wrapped soap and liquid hand soap is supplied in all rooms with other toiletries made available for those who require them.
Although smaller than the other rooms in the hotel our standard rooms still provide great comfort at a very reasonable price. These rooms are perfect for guests intending to spend little time in their room but wanting great comfort and atmosphere when they get back from a long day out. North facing, these rooms are at the very quiet back of the building and overlook our rock hill garden.
Room 5
A double room with antique furniture and modern en-suite facilities.
Room 9
Room 9, fully refurbished this past winter, has a more modern look and a king size bed. With the extra space in the room for a king size bed, the bathroom is smaller but strategically laid out for optimal space.
Room 10
Room 10 is a bright double room at the top of the hotel with a view over town. The separate but exclusive use facilities to this room are on the half landing just a few steps down from the room itself. Being separate, however, the bathroom is also larger than the other standard room facilities and has a bath with overhead shower. We provide bathrobes for this room.
Room 10 is also perfect for families to use in conjunction with the Top Suite, just next to it on the top floor, as the two rooms together are like having a small holiday flat.
