| We have now finished refurbishing our dining room and 2 of our bedrooms. They have been totally redecorated with all walls and ceilings re-plastered as well as new flooring. The bedrooms have also had their bathrooms upgraded. The most rewarding aspect has been in our dining room, where we 'unearthed' the original slate flagstones (dating back to 1840, when 'Villa Cintra' was built - Ascot House Hotel's original name). Restoring the flagstones to their former glory has been hard work but we feel it's well worth it. |
